Kappa Delta Sorority May Be The Crown Jewel Of Greek Life

When your sorority motto is “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest,” you know you’ve got it going on. Such is the case for Kappa Delta sorority, one of the most respected and, ahem, attractive sororities in the country.

Sorority: Kappa Delta (KΔ)
Founded: October 23, 1897
Chapters: 165
Members: 250,000
Notable Alumni: Brooke Anderson, Georgia O’Keefe
Official Website:

Let me start off with the obvious: Kappa Deltas are absolutely gorgeous, especially the University of Central Florida chapter (check out the recruitment video below). We’re not saying looks are everything when it comes to Greek Life, but we’d be lying if we said it didn’t play a roll at all. Having said that, Kappa Delta is much more than just a collection of ridiculously pretty faces.

While every chapter sets their own GPA requirements, the general consensus for Kappa Delta’s minimum appears to be a 2.8. That’s pretty impressive considering the majority of college is spent killing brain cells. Beyond that, Kappa Deltas are blessed with some very big hearts.

The sorority works on a national level with some amazing organizations such as Girl Scouts of the USA, Prevent Child Abuse America, Orthopedic Research Awards, and Children’s Hospitals. To date, Kappa Delta has raised more than $2.2 million for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, north of $1.9 million for Orthopedic Research and has served as mentors and volunteers for Girl Scouts of America for years.

Basically, Kappa Deltas are renaissance women who can do it all. Keep doing your thing, ladies.
